The layout and design solution
The kitchen works as an open galley: two long bench runs with an island between them, so more than one person can be in the room without getting in each other's way.
Cabinetry and finishes
White base cabinetry with timbergrain overhead doors, and a full-height bank of dark grey storage and appliance cabinetry along the opposite wall.
Benchtop
White stone-look benchtops with a mitred waterfall end on the island.
Hardware and storage
Drawer banks under the main working bench rather than cupboards, with open shelving beside the overheads.
